I just wanted to find cute clothes that weren't made from synthetic materials.
Fifth Stone started with something that probably sounds familiar: I started reading labels.
When I became a mom, I started paying attention to what was actually in the things I was buying—food ingredients, cleaning supplies, skincare, fabrics... You name it.
Over time, I started making changes around our home and became more intentional about what we put into our home, into our bodies, and on our skin.
When I started paying attention to the clothes in my closet, I realized the majority of my wardrobe was made from toxic fabrics like polyester, acrylic, or nylon. (I'll let you do your own google search down that rabbit hole).
Then, once I began intentionally shopping for natural fabrics, I ran into a problem.
Finding cute clothes made from natural fabrics was hard.
Most trendy clothes were made entirely from synthetic materials, and when I did find clothing made from natural fabrics, they were often very basic, very expensive, or both.
Don't get me wrong—I love a good basic. But I also love expressing myself through my style.
I've always enjoyed putting outfits together, finding new ways to wear things I already own, and finding pieces that make an outfit feel like me.
I didn't want to choose between a wardrobe full of basics and the trendy clothes I loved just because I wanted to be more intentional about the fabrics I was buying.
Then came the time I spent reading labels.
I'd find an outfit I loved from a boutique or clothing brand, search for the product details, just to find polyester, nylon, or acrylic.
Then I'd do it again. And again.
Shopping shouldn’t be this hard or time-consuming.
So I created Fifth Stone.
Thoughtfully chosen natural-fiber clothing for elevated looks, everyday essentials, and everything in between.
We do the searching, filtering, and label-reading so you don't have to spend hours doing it yourself.
You'll find a mix of both trendy and staple women's clothing, with an emphasis on cotton, linen, silk, wool, and other natural fibers.
And what you'll never find?
No polyester. No nylon. No acrylic. Ever.
At Fifth Stone, our goal is to help you find pieces you’ll love wearing and feel good about choosing.
Why "Fifth Stone"?
Fifth Stone is inspired by Colossians 3:12, "Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience."
These five qualities are the foundation of Fifth Stone.
Because as much as we love clothes, what we wear is only one small part of who we are. How we live and treat others carries far more weight than what’s on a label.
Fifth Stone is ultimately about being intentional - not perfect.
Cute clothes. Better fabric options. Less label-reading.
